Our Mission

The ISS Learning Commons is a welcoming and inspiring place where collaborative as well as independent learning and creating flourishes. Users feel at home, connected, and included. We aim to inspire a love of reading and learning. The Learning Commons team aspires to provide specialized expertise, environments, and resources which will assist students and others in constructing a deeper understanding of the world and of our responsibilities within it.

Welcome to the NEW Learning Commons website! The Learning Commons includes resources from our three divisional libraries as well as the Digital Learning, Approaches to Learning, and Service as Action/CAS teams.

On this site you will find resources related to major ISS projects as well as support materials for Approaches to Learning skills across all grade levels. We also provide the community with a variety of online and physical resources that support research and inquiry, as well as promoting a love of reading.

As this site is still being developed and may not have all the resources that you need yet, you may also wish to go back to our old site.
