Degerloch Lower School Educational Psychologist
Dear fellow parents and colleagues,
As I struggle everyday with my own balancing act between being a working mum and parent of two small kids, I want you to know that you are not alone. Included in the resources below are a few things that will hopefully be helpful in these strange and crazy times: guided relaxation activities for kids, videos for family discussions that are NOT about the corona virus, self-care ideas and reminders that we are all in this boat together. Do remember to be kind to yourselves as parents- because really, none of us have this ‘new reality’ figured out yet! If you find yourself needing to speak with someone about your concerns involving your children or your newfound parenting challenges in these constricted times, please feel free to email me at email@example.com and I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner. Dear ISS Community,
In the wake of the COVID- 19 outbreak & keeping yourself safe, you or someone in your family, are feeling overwhelmed with emotions like sadness, low mood, anxiety, restlessness and any other emotions arising from this constant battle of staying safe reach out your School counsellor.
Sometimes it’s just not possible to sort through tough times alone. Problems can build up and you may lose sleep, find you can’t concentrate on distant learning, or even become sad because you can’t meet your friends. So, when you need to talk to someone, your school counsellor can be a great place to start.
I am available to support students and their families with information and tips for managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns and please see my resources below.

My name is Ms. Kiri Luther and I am the Upper School Counselor and Psychologist for the Degerloch Campus.
